Food Waste Friday

March 12th was a lone shriveled moldy sweet potato.

March 19th was a smorgasbord  for the dogs. I’m not sure what because I was bedridden with a toothache. My darling husband cleaned out the refrigerator, but he doesn’t do pictures.

March 25th, No food waste, but I do have some things to use up this week.

Food Waste Friday

I decided to join The Frugal Girl with posting my wasted food on Fridays in order to embarrass myself into not wasting food, using up what I do buy, and just simply being creative.

I do not have a picture. I had some gluten free rolls that I planned for my hamburger I ate this week. It was so nasty, dry with an awful after taste. I only stomached one roll. I tried to make toast out of another, but thought it’s taste was obnoxiously pungent. I  left the package on my table for a few days so when I looked at them Thursday, they were covered in mold. So we fed them to our dogs, who thoroughly enjoyed them.

I do not have a picture of my food waste. I am working on learning how to get pictures from my camera to this website.

I made a really tasty chicken dressing casserole but I left it in the oven too long making it basically inedible. Our dogs really enjoyed it today. I felt sad when I realized I set the timer for several minutes too long. It looked to hard to eat.
